Heart Spectrum Technology


The heart spectrum technolgy is a patented analysis technology developed by OSTAR Meditech Corp., Taiwan, to provide information about the healthy status of the heart from the data collected on a blood pressure measurement. The analysis generates three useful indexes that give an overview of the healthy status of your heart each time you measure your blood pressure.


The research and clinical trials showed that heart spectrum technology can effectively identify the irregular heartbeat and irregular vibrations caused by possible incomplete valve closure and coronary artery circulatory disorder. The results are presented in three numerical reference indicators -  heart spectrum index I1, I2 and I3.


Integrated with this patented technology, the OSTAR heart spectrum blood pressure monitor is a unique equipment for private use that shows much more information than just a roughtindication of an irregular heartbeat (heart arrhythmia).


The OSTAR heart spectrum indexes I1, I2 and I3 are the reference indicators for the healthy status of the heart, which are defined in according to the patented OSTAR heart spectrum technology and clinical studies. These indexes are the analysis results of the general blood pressure measurement data obtained from the OSTAR heart spectrum blood pressure monitor.


Clinical studies show that the heart spectrum index I1 is the the noise index of heart arrhythmias, the hear spectrum index I2 is the noise index of heart valve and the heart spectrum index I3 is the noise index of coronary artery.

The innovative and patented

automatic correction and calibration technology


Each time the OSTAR heart spectrum blood pressure monitor is turned on it performs an internal check of the measurement accurancy according to the surrounding enviromental conditions such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, height , latitude, etc. and its components status. If any difference outside the tolerance of the built-in setting is found, the OSTAR heart spectrum blood pressure monitor will conduct an correction accordingly and calibrates the equipment to re-establish the measurement accuracy.

Although the blood pressure readings 120mmHg/80mmHg are recognised as the optimal blood pressure readings, but due to difference in age, health situation and physical conditions, each person would have different ideal blood pressure readings to maintain.

 

With the settings of the warning range of the OSTAR HK-809 heart spectrum blood pressure monitor, when a measured reading of your blood pressure or your pulse exceed the control value your set, that exceeded reading will be displayed in flashing mode, so that you see the warning instantly.

The

automatic re-inflation function


When the OSTAR HK-809 heart spectrum blood pressure monitor is used to measure blood pressure, the equipment first inflates the cuff until the preset pressure (approx. 180 mmHg) is reached. Then the equipment starts to slowly deflate the cuff. During the deflation, the OSTAR HK-809 heart spectrum blood pressure monitor measures the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure.


If for any reason the correct blood pressure values cannot be obtained during deflation, the OSTAR HK-809 heart spectrum blood pressure monitor will automatically inflate the cuff to a higher pressure (approx. 200 mmHg) and deflate the cuff again to take the correct measurement readings.


With this function, the OSTAR HK-809 heart spectrum blood pressure monitor can always obtain the correct blood pressure values from the measurement.

Why is high blood pressure (hypertension) dangerous?

High blood pressure hypertension) is one of the most inportant risk factors for cardiovascular diseases and is therefore an essential determinant of the most common causes of death in adulthood. According to the results of the GEDA 2014/2015-EHIS study, almost every third adult in Germany is a known medically diagnosed hypertension. Men are more often attected in the age group under 65 years old. In the age group over 65 years old (include age of 65 years old) almost two thirds of both sexes have high blood pressure (hypertension).


Hypertension often happens unnoticed for a long time. It is dangerous because this disease can be symptom-free for a long time. Arterial hypertension is usual discovered accidentally during a routine examination.
