Automatic correction and calibration technology

- the OSTAR HK-809 Heart spectrum blood pressure monitor calibrates itself automatically every time it is turned on

Every time the OSTAR Heart Spectrum Blood Pressure Monitor is turned on, the device performs an internal check of the measurement accuracy depending on its component status and environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, altitude, and etc. As soon as the self-checking process detects a difference outside the tolerance of the built-in standard, the device carries out an automatic correction and calibrates the device accordingly to restore the measurement accuracy.

Regular calibration of a measuring device is very important

There are many natural factors that affect the accuracy of a blood pressure monitor, for example: ambient temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, altitude, and etc. In addition, after a certain period of use, the influence of the quality and aging problem of the components should not be neglected.

The calibration defines the accuracy and quality of the measurement data which a measurement equipment is recorded. Over time, the measuring results and accuracy of a measurement equipment is tended to drift, especially when using certain technologies or using certain parameters such as temperature, pressure and humidity for measuring. To be sure that the measured results are reliable, there is a constant need to maintain and calibrate the measurement equipments throughout their lifet ime for making accurate and repeatable measurements.

The goal of calibration is to minimize measurement uncertainty by ensuring the accuracy of the measurement equipment. The calibration quantifies errors or uncertainties  within measurement processes and controls these to an acceptable level.

By using of the patented OSTAR technology, every measurement is as accurate as it should be

The OSTAR automatic correction and calibration technology ensures that every measurement OSTAR heart spectrum blood pressure monitor measured is of the same accuracy, regardless of when and where the measurement is performed.

With this patented OSTAR automatic correction and calibration technology, every time the OSTAR heart spectrum blood pressure monitor is turned on, it performs an internal check of the measurement accuracy, depending on its component status and the ambient conditions such as temperature, humidity, air pressure, altitude, and etc. If during the self-checking process, the OSTAR heart spectrum blood presurement monitor detects differences outside the tolerance of the built-in standards, the OSTAR device immediately carries out an automatic correction and calibrates the device accordingly so that the measurement accuracy is restored.
