Update the settings
Turn on the OSTAR heart spectrum blood pressure monitor by pressing the "ON OFF" button 8. The LCD display shows the current date, the current time and a number 0 (graphic above), indicating that the device is ready for making measurement.
Date and time
Long press the setting button 6 for more than 2 seconds to enter the setup mode until the sign "year" with a flashing figure displayed on the LCD display.
Press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure. When the figure of year is correct, press the setting button 6 again to go to the next setting step.
After the setting button 6 is pressed, the LCD display will display the setting of date and time, and firstly with a flashing Month figure.
Press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure. When the figure of month is correct, press the setting button 6 to adjust figures of day, hour and minute in sequence.
Afterward press the setting button 6 again to go to the next setting step.
Warning range of the systolic blood pressure
After the setting button 6 is pressed, the LCD display will display the setting of default warning range of systolic blood pressure, and firstly with a flashing "highest" figure. You can make adjustment now.
Press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure. Afterward, press the setting button 6 again then the "lowest" figure will be flashing. Again, please press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure.

Afterward press the setting button 6 again to go to the next setting step.
Warning rang of the diastolic blood pressure
After the setting button 6 is pressed, the LCD display will display the setting of default warning range of diastolic blood pressure, and firstly with a flashing "highest" figure. You can make adjustment now.
Press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure. Afterward, press the setting button 6 again then the "lowest" figure will be flashing. Again, please press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure.

After the setting button 6 is pressed, the LCD display will display the setting of default warning range of pulse, and firstly with a flashing "highest" figure. You can make adjustment now.
Press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure. Afterward, press the setting button 6 again then the "lowest" figure will be flashing. Again, please press the right-adjustment button 7 to increase the figure or press the left-adjustment button 5 to decrease the figure.

Connection status of the WIFI
After the setting button 6 is pressed, the LCD display displays the connection status of WIFI for some OSTAR models. The WIFI function is not available for this model (HK-809). The default setting was "no" and should not be changed.
Afterward press the Settings button 6 again to complete the update of the settings.
Save the update of settings
After the setting button 6 is pressed, the Data-updated symbol will be flashed once to indicate that the changes have been saved to the memory. Afterward LCD display will display the updated date, time and a figue 0 and the device is ready for making measurement.
